    Pommery Apanage Blanc de Noirs


    Tasting Notes:
    Pale golden colour with pearly and slightly amber reflections as signs of delicacy and maturity. Exceptional brilliance. Very fine effervescence.

    With a remarkable elegance, the first nose reveals subtle and floating floral notes (acacia, peony) rapidly enveloped by sugary sensations of mirabelle, crushed strawberry and frangipani. Nuances of vanilla and soft spices complete the sophisticated aromatic range of this wine. 

    The attack is pure with very elegant creamy notes. The floral notes revealed on the nose are found back on the palate and result in flavours of acacia honey. The heart of the tasting is intense, ample and full-bodied. Nuances of pear, red fruits, and spices reminiscent of Timur berries are mixed. The mineral texture reflects the exceptional terroirs which compose this blend. The perfect balance of the finish is underlined by a delicate note of blood orange. 

    Serving: 
    Apanage Blanc de Noirs will be a delicious accompaniment for an aperitif and dinner based on tapas or Portuguese rissois. It is also magnified by a broad range of delicate dishes during the meal, such as: a risotto with white truffles, roast chicken or Japanese tempura.

    Winemaking:
    Blend (assemblage) of 100% red grape varieties based on the Apanage Pommery style. 

    Intensity and elegance of the Pinot Noir associated with the fruits and fullness of the Meunier.

    Blend: 70% Pinot Noir - 30% Meunier

    Great chalk terroirs:
    A careful and audacious selection of magnificent terroirs, primarily originating from the grands crus of the Montagne de Reims, to find the most elegant Pinot Noir and Meunier and allow for the creation of a Blanc de Noirs which is structured and generous without betraying the elegance and the floating style of Champagne Pommery. 

    Reserve wines to accentuate the aromas:
    As throughout the Pommery range, the collection of Pommery reserve wines enhances the blending and contributes the maturity and complexity which are indispensable for this fine dining champagne. 

    A long ageing in Pommery's historical cellars:
    The prolonged ageing in the cellars, the signature of the Apanage range, provides this cuvée with a perfect balance. This delicate maturation, protected from light, permits the revealing of all the subtleties of this blend. 

    A balanced dosage:
    In the tradition of the Apanage Brut, the dosage is deliberately discreet to support the general harmony of the cuvée and preserve all the flavours.
