    Henri Giraud Aÿ Grand Cru MV20 Magnum - 1.5 Litres


    MV20 blends the base wine from the 2020 vintage with one third reserve wine from Giraud's réserve perpétuelle, a solera begun in 1990. 

    Whilst the wine used to be called Fût de Chêne since all of Giraud's wines are fermented in oak from the nearby Argonne Forest, the wine is now Aÿ Grand Cru MV20 given Giraud's family vineyards in the Grand Cru of Aÿ, with Pinot Noir dominating the blend and Chardonnay supporting (80:20 split). 

    Multi Vintage, depository of the know-how and natural modernity of the Champagne region, combines traditional craftsmanship and modern winemaking techniques while keeping in mind the time when the great Champagne families built the history of the region on the genius of its men and its wines.

    The hand-embedded clip signs its authenticity.

    Technical Data:
    80% Pinot Noir - 20% Chardonnay 

    Traditional Blend Champenois
    2/3 of the year identified + 1/3 perpetual reserve (since 1990) 
    Vinified and raised in small Argonne oak barrel during 1 year,
    50% of them are new oak barrel.

    Aged for a minimum of 4 years on the lees
