    Champagne Henri Giraud Argonne Rosé is a tiny cuvée, even by Giraud's standards this one is minute.

    Just 800 bottles are produced for each release, and the releases are few and far between: 2004, 2008, 2011, 2012. 
     
    Giraud go into full stealth-mode when it comes to marketing the wine. Given that volumes are so small, why would they publicise the wine? Those who know, know. 

    The technical sheets are light on detail and they don't sample journalists on the wine on every release.

    When journalists do see the wine, the reviews are amazing!

    William Kelley from Wine Advocate penned this for the 2008: Disgorged in February 2020, the 2008 Brut Grand Cru Aÿ Argonne Rosé opens in the glass with inviting aromas of pear, dried orange rind, marmalade, buttered toast, mocha and red berries. Full-bodied, vinous and chiselled, it's even more concentrated and structured than its 2004 counterpart, its satiny and vinous attack segueing into a deep but youthfully tightly wound core, concluding with a long, intensely sapid finish. 800 bottles were produced, making it comparatively abundant by the standards of this tiny cuvée.
     
    James Suckling has given the perfect 100 points for the 2012:
    "This is something else on the nose, with saltiness, dried orange, grapefruit, flowers, white pears, peaches, white pepper, rust and five spice. Crazy spice, citrus and rusty minerality. Very fine bubbles. Energy and softness combined. Copper colored, but otherwise hard to compare to other rosé Champagnes. Savory and intellectual. Unique in the wine world. 90% pinot noir and 10% chardonnay. 800 bottles. Try this if you can. Drink or hold."
