Tasting Notes:
10 Cane has a light, golden colour with primary aromas of pear, cinnamon, and a hint of vanilla that are typical of sugar cane. Notes of honey and essences of delicate hawthorn blossoms can then be detected on the nose.
It is beautifully balanced, with a smooth, velvety texture and a fresh, lively sugar cane character, achieving perfect harmony on the palate.
The finish is extraordinarily long, continuing with the primary notes of sugar cane and also oak. 10 Cane elevates any cocktail. Mojitos, martinis, frozen drinks, with cola or grapefruit juice, it goes with everything...or nothing. You can even drink it neat or on the rocks.
Background Information:
10 Cane is a luxury rum unlike any other, created from the first pressing of virgin Trinidadian sugar cane. Most other rums start with molasses, using cane grown for sugar production. 10 Cane however is created from the first pressing of a virgin Trinidadian sugar cane specially grown for rum, and harvested in groups of ten. Following small batch distillation in French Pot stills (the best in the world), the rum is aged in French oak for 6 months. The barrels mellow the cane flavour and give 10 Cane its extraordinary smooth taste.
10 Cane is the "World's Best Rum", made with first press cane juice, the purest , most flavourful juice extracted from hand-harvested Trinidadian sugar cane. This method is a pure, better tasting way to make rum.
Named after the tradition of hand-harvesting and bundling sugar cane stalks in groups of ten.
